Our family has been engaged in agriculture for several generations already. In the past, the family estate in the vicinity of Čelarevo had orchards and was involved in winegrowing, but nowadays we are primarily focused on growing vegetables. Thirty years ago, we started growing watermelons. With enormous dedication, love and, above all, knowledge invested in this production, we can say without any modesty, that we have managed to push the boundaries in this area of production in Serbia and in the region. Soon afterwards, we started growing other vegetables as well, and in the recent years, we have engaged ourselves more intensively in growing greenhouse produce.

Today, the homestead Mirković boasts 50ha of first class, unpolluted soil in the cadastral municipality of Čelarevo, with infrastructure, storage yard of 25,000 m², a modern cold storage facility with a capacity of 4,000t, administration building, employees’ facilities, residential buildings, a park and 35,000 m² of land occupied by modern greenhouse facilities. The homestead has its own power substation, an electrical irrigation system and has a complete agricultural mechanisation. We collaborate with the most eminent experts in this field in the region and, in addition to our own production, we purchase these products from other farms too.

In the period between 1990 and 2014, homestead Mirković exported its vegetables to numerous markets in Europe (Germany, Austria, Czech, United Kingdom, etc.) and we have cooperated with almost all large domestic buyers. We strive to meet the highest level of quality and have ISO 22000 standard.
